The growing relevance of Kenya as a business and economic hub has seen the firm follow its clients to East and Central Africa. Our work is usually in the M&A sector, where we play the primary role of transaction counsel. Where necessary, we co-operate and work with local counsel in the various jurisidictions with whom we have developed best-friends relationships.

Sectors in which we have worked include banking, insurance and financial services. In addition to expected regulatory matters that we advise on, there is an added dimension to our work, specific to competition law, with the bringing into force of the COMESA competition regulations.

The firm has acted in transactions in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Botswana and Ghana.
